接触语言学视角中的翻译
——广州报章翻译现象分析

摘 要：本文分析了广州四份中文报纸的一些翻译现象，发现这些翻译现象与中英语言接触环境有很大的关系，受到是否存在对等成分、语言符号指涉物的唯一性、省力原则等语言因素和语言接触程度、语言态度、语言的文化优势等社会因素的影响。通过分析，文章试图重新剖析翻译和语言接触的关系，认为翻译与其他语言接触现象一样包含了两种语言的运作和碰撞，受到两种语言接触环境的影响，可能引起译语的偏离并最终产生语言变化，因此理应被视为一种语言接触现象加以研究，接触语言学也应该将翻译纳入其研究视野。

How Four Chinese Newspapers in Guangzhou Use Translation:
A Contact-Linguistic Point of View

Abstract: Analyzing the way four Chinese newspapers in Guangzhou utilize translation, this article finds that the Chinese-English contact environments concerned have a strong bearing on the translational procedures being followed. How translation has been made use of by these newspapers is subject to both linguistic and social factors, such as availability of equivalence, the principle of economy, intensity of contact, and language attitude. On the basis of these findings, the authors urge that translation be seen as a language contact phenomenon and for its understanding and conceptualization, a contact-linguistic approach be adopted.
